BBC bosses have allegedly SUSPENDED EastEnders' actress Jessie Wallace, after an "incident" broke out during filming for the soap.

It's been reported the 48-year-old, who plays Kat Slater, has been written out of the soap on a temporary basis until she is allowed to return.

The Mirror reports after the alleged "incident" happened, an emergency meeting was called by the show's producers, where Jessie was apparently told she'd be suspended for two months.

A source told the publication, "Bosses were left with no choice but to discipline her.

"During the meeting she was told to sort herself out before returning to work.

“Scriptwriters are currently coming up with a storyline to explain Kat’s temporary exit from Walford.”

The news of the suspension comes just weeks after Jessie allegedly ended her two year relationship with boyfriend Paul Keepin.

Jessie is said to have called it quits over the New Year, with a source telling The Sun, “Jessie and Paul recently ended things and have cut contact with each other.

"She is moving on and wants the New Year to be a fresh start when she will focus on work."
