The X Factor has already been on our screens for months, even though it feels like we have known Honey G our whole lives.
It's fair to see we've come to love the marmite rapper. That dodgy knee slide at results shows? That's literally us at Infernos on a Saturday.
As the last few acts sing their way to the final next month (and Honey G no doubt proves that she can even rap to classical and sail through the eliminations), our excitement levels reach PEAK.
Might also be something to do with all of the emosh Christmas adverts that are now on the telly box regularly. Not just the lovely John Lewis ad with Buster the Boxer – there's also a cute Waitrose one with the most resilient little robin we've ever seen, and the Sainsbury's offering where actual James Corden sings the theme tune.
It's pretty amazing, NGL.
But what about The X Factor winner's single? When are we going to find out what the potential Christmas number one is? Will James Corden swoop in with his ad song and snatch it from the hardworking X Factor contestants, giggling heartily as he drives off in his lovely big car, probably with Lady Gaga in the passengers side?
No, of course he wouldn’t do that. James is far too nice.
But whether The X Factor will get the coveted Christmas number one is largely down to the song that's selected, which is why this year they've decided to reach out to everyone's favourite ginger, Ed Sheeran.
According to The Sun, Simon Cowell has been given one of Ed's most notable ballads for whoever wins the title.
"Everything Ed does turns to gold," a source told the paper.
"All the remaining contestants have heard the track and it works for the majority,"
Well, who might it NOT work for, Mr or Mrs Source? HMMM??
"The only chance his song won't get used is if 5AM or Honey G pull off a shock win. Then bosses might need to consider another one of their options."
ORITE.
The winners of the show have managed to absolutely SMASH it when it comes to Christmas number ones, with almost all of them hitting the top spot.
However, last year's winner Louisa Johnson only managed to climb to number nine with her cover of Bob Dylan's Forever Young.
What do YOU think Honey G's winning single would be? Let us know on Facebook OR Twitter – whichever takes your fancy.
We're thinking a rap version of Fairytale Of New York, but that's just us.
