The Top 50 UK best-selling albums of the millennium have been revealed, and fairly unsurprisingly Adele takes the top spot.
In a list of the biggest albums sold in the UK since 2000, Adele's second record,* 21,* topped the chart with sales of nearly 4,740,000.

Amy Winehouse's Back To Black is second on the list with over 3,560,000 sales, while James Blunt's Back To Bedlam is at three with 3,310,000 sales. Leona Lewis' Spirit and Dido's No Angel round out the top five.
Robbie Williams and Take That have the most entries in the top 50 with four each, while Coldplay have three.
Only two albums in the list were released before 2000 – David Gray's White Ladder and ABBA's* Gold – Greatest Hits.*
