Adele’s hugely anticipated comeback album has leaked online. Oops.

Snippets of each track from* 25* began popping up on social media yesterday, just three days before its official release this Friday (20 November).

Luckily, the snippets have now been gathered up and removed from the World Wide Web.

A spokesperson for Adele has told Billboard that Twitter rumours that 25 CDs had been mistakenly released early at US retailer Target are "not true". So who knows how the tracks got leaked.

Earlier this week 25 track, When We Were Young, appeared online legally, and it was smashing.

To celebrate the official release of* 25* on Friday, BBC One will air a special programme hosted by Graham Norton. The show will feature live performances by Adele, plus plenty of chat.
