Our new favourite supermarket Aldi is here to save us from the struggles of Veganuary. How? Well, with their vegan wine of course, which you can stock up on for a mere £5.99. Yes people, £5.99!

Aldi describes the Project sauvignon blanc as "intense, expressive and tropical" - just what we're after tbh. Apparently this win is "delicious as an aperitif or with Thai dishes", which works for us.

"Sauvignon Blanc exhibits intense grapefruit flavours with a hint of pineapple for a deliciously tropical taste." And it has raving reviews on the Aldi website - we mean, could you even ask for more?

Aldi's website says: "The Project is an exciting collaboration between 2 self-confessed wine nerds. Duncan Savage and Thys Louw have spent countless hours in search of the greatest vineyards that the Western Cape has to offer - and they've certainly delivered."

Right, 1) a big thank you to Duncan and Thys for providing us with this glorious vegan wine - we really appreciate it. And 2) how can we join your team? Because spending hours in the world's greatest vineyards sounds RIGHT up our street.

Okay so we're off to go and stock up on said vegan wine. If you don't hear from us for a while, you know where we'll be...
