We all know it well, the buttery chocolate centre, the adorable chocolate face; whether it was called Colin, Wiggles, Bonnie or Clyde, it's hard to find anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of tucking into a good caterpillar cake in their lifetime.
But now, ASDA are about the change the game for good as they announce the arrival of 'Colossal Clyde'...and it's over a foot long!
Office parties will never be the same again, with Clyde amounting to a whopping 45cm and serving around 24 people. Who could possibly stomach that much cake? OH WAIT...US!
But what about the price?
This scrumptious masterpiece will only cost you £12, making it the ultimate last-minute birthday party contribution.

1) Dairy Milk Tiffin
After being off the shelves for years, Tiffin made its comeback in 2016. Hallelujah!
Sarah Burns, ASDA bakery expert, said, "As well as being a fun novelty cake, Colossal Clyde is great value for money for our customers." We think so too, Sarah!
She continued, “There has been an increasing demand for supersized and extraordinary products recently and we’re happy to be at the forefront of quirky thinking and show stopping products that our customers love.” The colossal cake will hit the shelves later this month.
M&S, who initially began the caterpillar cake craze with 'Colin the Caterpillar' in 1990, also offer a giant version - however this is only available online and will set you back a whopping £40.
£12 and serves 24 people? That's our night in sorted.
