Ever heard of a sexy wolf? You have now, because Benedict Cumberbatch is going to be playing one in the upcoming Madagascar spinoff film The Penguins of Madagascar.
OK, as it's a kids film it's maybe not meant to be such a sexy casting, but listen to the Cumberlord's deep voice in the trailer above and just SEE if you don't come over all unnecessary.
In the animated movie, Benedict plays Classified, a wolf involved in the secretive pan-animal organisation North Wind that helps animals in distress.
We first meet him flying a plane and rescuing the four wisecracking penguins - Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private - and trying to explain his mission to Skipper while the penguin leader eats Wotsits all over his control panel.
Of the new role, Benedict recently said: "I don't know what it's like to be a penguin, but I do know what it's like to be a super-duper smooth classified agent."
As well as voicing a wolf who makes us question our sexuality, Benedict's been busy with his next (Cumber)batch of work - including playing the brother of Johnny Depp's murderous character in Black Mass, plus lending his voice to new children's animation Magik.
Oh - and he's also going to be voicing a documentary investigation into slavery in the prawn industry, which obvs we're going to be watching on a loop.
