Benedict Cumberbatch snapped up The Variety Award at last night's BIFA awards and his Sherlock co-star was picked up an award, too.
Andrew Scott – who plays the detective’s nemesis Moriarty - snagged Best Supporting Actor for his role in _Prid_e. The tale of gay and lesbian activists who helped raise money to support the families affected by Welsh miners strikes in the 80s.
Cumberbatch and his big quivery lip have starred in a whole host of films across the year, from the legendary code breaker Alan Turing in The Imitation Game - who it transpired Cumb was a distant relative of - to erm, a suave wolf in Penguins of Madagascar.
Elsewhere Emma Thompson was awarded for her outstanding contribution to Britsh Film, also known as The Richard Harris award.
