Lip Sync Battle UK
We are, of course, talking about Lip Sync Battle UK. The show, hosted by Mel B and Professor Green (odd combo - we know), made its debut on Channel 5 in January 2016 and went down a storm with viewers, who took to Twitter to tweet their praises.
The premiere saw Britain’s Got Talent judges David Walliams and Alesha Dixon going head-to-head in a series of lip-syncing performances in order to be crowned the best. Yet, despite his truly captivating performance of Adele’s Hello, David ultimately lost out to the ex-Mis-Teeq singer after she won the crowd over with her flawless interpretation of Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood - complete with leather outfit and full squad.
Here’s all you need to know about everyone’s new favourite TV fix.
Lip Sync Battle Spike TV
Last year America was dominated by Lip Sync Battle, the musical comedy television show that premiered on Spike back in April. The series is based on the lip-syncing competitions introduced to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which sees celebrities battling it out with songs of their choosing. And if the UK launch show was anything to go by, it appears our side of the pond is about to be taken over by the lip-syncing craze.
