Britain’s Got Talent (ITV, Saturday, 8pm)

After two massively enjoyable episodes of auditions which were both watched by more than 10 million viewers, it’s time for the third show in this ninth series of BGT. ITV is being typically secretive about the details, or else Simon is sending 10,000-word emails to the producers with last-minute editing demands, so all I can say is that there will be FUN. And maybe a golden buzzer, considering we’ve had one per show so far, and remember Ant & Dec get to press that button and put an act through, as well as our four judges. Switch over afterwards to watch the always madcap Britain’s Got More Talent on ITV2 in which Stephen Mulhern subjects Ant & Dec, David Walliams and anyone he get his hands on to all kinds of extraordinary challenges.

Poldark (BBC1, Sunday, 9pm)

If there’s one thing we’ll take away from this first series of the freshly remade Poldark, it’s surely that smelting was quite a tough business back in the 18th century. OK, maybe we’ll remember Aidan Turner’s torso more. But sheesh that bloody smelting company is threatening to ruin Ross Poldark’s life in this series finale, while various fatal illnesses threaten various characters, too. Meanwhile, his wife Demelza is busy helping her poor in-laws. It all ends on a quite literal cliffhanger. No topless scene this week, though. Roll on series 2!

How did they get away with murder?

How To Get Away With Murder (Universal , Sunday, 9pm)

One of the best new US shows of recent times arrives at its season finale on Sunday. HTGAWM has been a heady mix of legal thriller, courtroom proceedural and whodunit and it’s had a supreme performance at its centre by Viola Davis as the ruthlessly brilliant lawyer and law professor. Tonight we find out who killed Lila and even if you guess the outcome it’s still a rollickingly good slice of TV. If you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, and have no idea who Lila is, you’ve got a great binge viewing treat in store when you can watch it all in one go someday soon.

Kim K turns detective

And don’t forget…

While we hear all about Bruce Jenner’s life this weekend in his own US TV Special, on the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians (E!, Sunday, 9pm) it’s all about Kim K trying to find a thief who’s been robbing from the DASH store in New York. Get your deerstalker on, Kim!
