After five years away, Britney Spears is making her acting comeback. Rejoice. Later this year, Brit will be taking a trip to the Marbella Hotel to make a cameo in hit CW series Jane The Virgin.
The singer revealed the news on Twitter, telling her fans: “See u at the Marbella Hotel soon, @hereisgina @jaimecamil! Guest starring on one of my favourite shows EVER @CWJaneTheVirgin #DreamComeTrue”.

“We are so thrilled that Rogelio's 'nemesis' -- Britney Spears -- has agreed to appear on Jane The Virgin in episode 205,” Jennie wrote online. “Personally, after hearing about their long standing feud (from Rogelio's point of view), we are eager to hear Ms Spears' side of the story, which we assume is quite different. #TeamBritney”.
Britney’s last cameo was on Glee back in 2010 after a two episode run on How I Met Your Mother two years before. She also made a pretty memorable appearance on Will & Grace back in 2006. And not forgetting, of course, her incredible starring role in her 2002 film Crossroads.
The second series of Jane The Virgin comes back on The CW on 12 October.
