Who doesn’t like a little TV nostalgia once in a while, eh? So we’ve gathered together all those rascals from Buffy The Vampire Slayer to see what they’ve been up to recently.
And yes, Angel is still a slammin' hottie...
Buffy - where are they now
Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy)
Sarah Michelle Gellar now
Sarah has worked solidly in TV and films, post-Buffy. In 2013 she starred in The Crazy Ones, a comedy set in an advertising agency, with the late Robin Williams.
Nicholas Brendon (Xander)
Nicholas Brendon now
Nicholas struggled more than the rest of the lead Buffy cast after the show ended in 2003. A recovering alcoholic, he was arrested (and tasered) in 2010 for vandalism and resisting arrest. But he did have career success, playing Kevin Lynch in Criminal Minds.
Alyson Hannigan (Willow)
Alyson Hannigan now
After Buffy, Alyson appeared in the West End in When Harry Met Sally alongside Luke Perry before starring in hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother and grabbing a recurring guest role in Veronica Mars. She married actor Alexis Denisof, who played Wesley Wyndam-Pryce in Buffy and Angel, in 2003 and they have two daughters.
Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia)
Charisma Carpenter now
Along with David Boreanaz, Charisma was shunted on to the spin-off series Angel after Buffy left school. Since then she’s churned out a steady stream of made-for-TV and straight-to-DVD movies, including What Boys Like, Voodoo Moon and See Jane Date. Next year will give us Bound, a romantic drama about S&M that isn’t Fifty Shades Of Grey at all.
David Boreanaz (Angel)
David Boreanaz now
After the Buffy spin-off Angel finished in 2005, David leaped almost immediately into another hit show: Bones, in which he plays a laconic cop assisting Emily (sister of Zooey) Deschanel’s socially inept pathologist. He’s been married for ten years, but four years ago he admitted an affair with Rachel Uchitel (who also had an affair with Tiger Woods).
