Caroline Flack made a right pig’s ear of her first day on the job as the new X Factor presenter.

In fact, after interviewing her boss, Simon Cowell, she was convinced she’d be fired.

Cazza - who co-hosts the show with Olly Murs - revealed that she made an interview faux pas when speaking to the big guy; asking a dodgy question that unsurprisingly didn't make the TV show.

"It was the first thing I asked him on the first day of filming, 'After 12 years on the show, do you think you've rinsed all the talent in the UK?'" the presenter recalled to the Sunday Mirror.

"His face went like, 'What kind of question is that?' I thought, 'I'm sacked'."
