Angie Bowie, former wife of actual legend David Bowie, broke down when told the news about David's death.
Angie, who is currently a housemate in Celebrity Big Brother, was told by show producers that her ex-husband had lost his 18-month battle with cancer yesterday.
She replied: "'I haven't seen him in so many years I can't make a big drama about it... but I feel an era has ended, it's so very sad."
But then broke down in front of fellow house mates David Gest and John Partridge.
"The stardust has gone," Angie said as she told the rest of the house the dreadful news.
Angie and David were married from 1970 - 1980 and have a son together, now named Duncan Jones.
Viewers have witnessed Angie talk about her estrangement from her son, telling David Gest that she thought his father was at the root of their estrangement.
Angie has decided to stay in the Big Brother house but has been told by producers that she can leave at any time.
