We all know the reason Twitter is so great is because you have to make your message short and to the point - 140 characters short, to be exact.

Yeah, okay, sometimes it can be annoying when you need just a few more characters. But that’s the beauty of it, and that’s what makes it Twitter.

So why on Earth is Twitter upping its tweet limit to 10,000 characters, a number that seems to have been pulled right out of the air? Now we’re going to be faced with endless people on a rant, and it won’t be as fun now they can send it in one tweet.
