If you had fame by the bucketload, what would you use it for? Free stuff is a given, but how about using it to change things that REALLY matter?
GoThinkBig have teamed up with the BFI and upcoming women's empowerment film Suffragette to give you the chance to create your own short film and take your first steps towards that career in the film industry.
What would you do with the opportunity? Would you be like these celebrities below, who have used their fame to call for social change?
If you think you’d make a difference, grab your chance NOW to get your big break. GoThinkBig are giving 24 people aged 18 to 24 a chance to make their own short film under the guidance of BFI experts and industry professionals.
The film-making course takes place between 8 and 15 October 2015, and lucky winners will get to film and produce three short movies that will be premiered at the BFI London Film Festival ahead of a special screening of Suffragette on 15 October.
To be in with a chance of winning, visit gothinkbig.co.uk and choose between trying out as a screenwriter, director, assistant director, producer, cinematographer, editor, sound editor or production designer. Details of how to enter are all there.
The competition is open now and closes on 20 September. The lucky 24 will be contacted by 30 September to let them know they’ve won.
GOOD LUCK! #TheTimeIsNow

Celebrities who have used their power for good, not evil
Celebrities who have used their power for good, not evil (GoThinkBig advertorial)
Benedict Cumberbatch
Among MANY other things, Benedict is currently using his influence to support a campaign by Save the Children raising money for the Syrian refugees. The list of charities he regularly supports is endless and he’s an ambassador for The Prince’s Trust. And he’s well fit. Love you, Benny.
Emma Watson
#HeforShe – need we say more?
Angelina Jolie
The woman is a freakin’ UN Goodwill Ambassador! We hear more about her amazing work for social change than we do about her career as a movie star AND her marriage to delicious Brad Pitt, and we love her for it.
Reese Witherspoon
Reese used her appearance at the 2015 Oscars not to get publicity for her film Wild but to publicise the #AskHerMore campaign, which encourages reporters to ask women about their films rather than ‘who they’re wearing’. Good on ya, Reese.
