CBB runner up Michelle Visage has revealed that she’s working her socks off to make sure RuPaul’s Drag Race – a competition which see’s individuals work to be crowned ‘America’s next drag superstar' – will be coming to the UK and boy, do we hope she makes it happen.
“It's not a production company, it's not the talent,” she revealed. “It's finding a commissioner to buy it and release it.”
“The camp and the wit on our show in the States is very British. We know it would be huge here. We've been working hard to get it on here and I have no doubt that it will happen. I guarantee it would be a hit.”
The show, on which Michelle is a judge, is a hit in the states and the seventh series is set to air soon.
Since Michelle appeared on the show, she’s been pushing for the series to cross over the pond and recently, there’s even been talk of Jonathan Ross getting involved in her campaign.
Michelle added: “We are working ferociously with Jonathan to get a commissioner to pick it up.
“What you're seeing is not just a traditional reality judge show. This show changes lives, brings families together and has so much heart.”
She also confirmed that if they did get the show commissioned, she would front the show with RuPaul and a third judge.
Please, please, please can this happen soon?
