When Charlotte Crosby appeared on Lorraine Kelly’s ITV show this morning, she probably expected to have a rather jolly time. But her experience was far from it. In fact, it was possibly one of the most awkward interviews we’ve watched on television in a long time.
Fans of the Geordie Shore star, and even those who love Lorraine, were quick to blast the veteran presenter’s manner with some people labelling her a “bully”.

Charlotte was on the show to promote her new book Me Me Me and while chatting to Lorraine about her bladder control issues, Lorraine started to get a bit harsh. You know it is a bit gross, but Lorraine did go a bit OTT.
“When you look back at the girl who was called 'Charlotte the harlot' and who wet herself on television, do you kind of go, 'Oh, eek'? Because people make mistakes, but all of your mistakes are… there,” Lorraine asked Charlotte.
When the 25-year-old replied: “I still do all of them things, Lorraine. I never go, 'Oh eek', I go 'Aw, not again'. I'm not embarrassed [about bed-wetting]. It's so normal now,” Lorraine quickly hit back and said: “No it's not. It really isn't. It's not normal.”
Charlotte kept her cool and said: “I'd be embarrassed if people didn't like it,” but Lorraine continued to press her and said: “A lot of people don't. I don't. I really don't. They might not be laughing with you.”
Awkward.
Viewers quickly turned to Twitter to air their frustrations. “Geeze Lorraine, you're giving Charlotte such a hard time- aren't interviews meant to be non biased?” one person tweeted. Another wrote: “Very unprofessional interview...terrible behaviour from Lorraine Kelly.”
After the interview Charlotte referenced it online and joked with her Twitter followers, writing: “well that didn’t do too well. I don’t think Lorraine will be buying my book in a hurry.”
Luckily, the whole interview wasn’t an entire disaster and Charlotte did manage to get in some incredible lines. For example: her plans to give birth live on TV.
“I’d like to carry on doing everything on camera,” she explained. “I’d like to give birth on camera, I’d do everything, no limits, there’s none, the sky's the limit.
“I don’t have a plan, I never have a plan. I ‘d like to carry on what I’m doing. I’d like to be a part of Geordie Shore until it ended.”
