Is it just us or has January dragged like an absolute dusty old three-wheeled car? It’s been a tough month of hauling our asses to the gym, giving up alcohol (except on the weekends, obv) and attempting to cleanse our mind, body and soul post-Christmas.
But the promise of summer is on the almost on the horizon, and with that comes a host of festivals popping up left, right and centre. And most importantly food festivals.
One festival that sounds particularly appealing, is London’s Fried Chicken Festival.
YAAAS. You read that right.
The festival will be held in on 11th August 2018, with more dates to be added, and has been branded an event for the ‘community of chicken nuggets and wing lovers’. Which sounds right up our street, tbh.
The festival is being held by We Love Food – a community of food lovers, and they’re not just stopping at fried chicken.
“In 2018, we are launching a series of food festivals in cities across the UK covering all manner of cuisines and dishes from around the world,“ they announced on their website.
As well as chicken nuggets, a sushi festival, burger festival and cheese and wine event are also in the pipeline. So we can basically wave goodbye to that summer bod now.
