Hot Gin & Gingerbread: Bokan, London
We know what you're thinking: it's too cold for a G&T. Bokan is a sky-high restaurant with spectacular views and to ensure you don't miss out on your favourite tipple, they've mustered together a whole menu of hot juniper drinks. There are four to choose from but we take our bobble hat off to the Hot Gin & Gingerbread. It's a smashing sip made with Sipsmith London dry gin, gingerbread syrup, and hot water, which is then garnished with a thin slice of orange and an edible gingerbread man.
Mince Pie Martini: Little Blue Door, London
No Christmas meal is complete without cramming a mince pie into your mouth. Little Blue Door know this better than anyone which is why they've gone and created a Mince Pie Martini, just in case you overdo it with all those Yorkshire puds at dinner. Made with white rum, Amaretto Disaronno, Martini Rosso, and mince pie syrup, it's the liquid dessert you've been waiting for.
Mulled Negroni: Duck and Waffle, London
There are plenty of reasons to visit Duck and Waffle - it's the highest restaurant in London and it's got picture perfect views - but they've only gone and given us another reason to stop by, sooner rather than later too. To celebrate the festive season, Richard Woods, who's the bar's specialist mixologist, has launched 12 Cocktails of Christmas. From a Mulled Negroni to a delicious sounding Milky Bar Snowball, you'll be stepping into Christmas in no time.
All I Want For Christmas: Bloomsbury Club Bar, London
If Bloomsbury Club Bar were a person, you'd probably fall in love with it. From the luxurious interiors with velvet touches to the twinkling fairy-lit grotto outside, it's bookmarked as one of the best date night spots in London. For the Christmas period, the team have spruced up their menu with three new, limited edition cocktails, and we're crushing hard on All I Want For Christmas. It's a hot cocktail with lots of talk, containing coffee, Dingle whisky and a sprinkling of nutmeg.
Christmas Colada: Alma de Cuba, Liverpool
Set in a historic church with influences taken from Cuba and Latin America, Alma de Cuba is shining a star in Liverpool for dining with a difference. They have a festive menu of turkey with all the trimmings and a decadent Christmas pudding, and here to help you wash it down is their Christmas Colada. Made with Bacardi Añejo Cuatro rum, Amaretto, Coco Lopez, gingerbread syrup, pineapple juice and lemon juice, it's an inventive take on the classic we all know and love.
Santa’s Punch: Dirty Martini, Cardiff
Like Buddy the Elf, Dirty Martini never miss a chance to spread Christmas cheer. This swanky bar in Cardiff are still shaking up their regular serves this December, but they've added three festive mixes to their list. All made with Absolut Vodka, there's The Bellringer, Santa's Punch and last but definitely not least, the Grinch's Espresso Martini. Made with Kahlua, homemade Christmas syrup, fresh espresso, chocolate bitters and gingerbread foam, there's snow way you're to miss it.
Snowball Old Fashioneds: Miracle At Henrietta, London
Already in 70 states across America, NYC's Miracle on 9th Street pop-up has finally made its way to London. Gift-wrapped presents dangle from the rafters and there's an impressively decorated tree that will make you question your efforts at home, but it's the cocktails that make this pop-up so special. There's Snowball Old Fashioneds, there's Christmapolitans and there's Gingerbread Flips that are curated with bourbon, gingerbread syrup, elemakule tiki bitters, an entire egg and some nutmeg.
Bianco Natale: Quaglino's, London
Quaglino's is a decadent restaurant draped in red velvet with striking art deco interiors, and they know a thing or two about cocktails. For December only you can order their limited edition Bianco Natale. This indulgent creation marries Cointreau, Cacao White, yellow Chartreuse, lemon juice, egg white and chocolate bitters, and it comes presented with a dark chocolate garnish. As comforting as a hug from your mum, you'll be ordering your second one in no time.
Vin Brule: Madison, London
Madison boasts knockout views of London, especially St Paul's, and to show you rooftops aren't just for summer, they have a chalet pop-up complete with faux fur blankets and tartan throws. Snug with stunning scenes, you can prevent your teeth from chattering with one of their many hot cocktails; the Vin Brule is a must if you love red wine. It's a winter-ready recipe of Meridione Nero, winter spices, orange juice, apple juice and cinnamon syrup.
Highlands' Mulled Wine: The Churchill Bar and Terrace, London
Did you know that one of Winston Churchill's favourite drinks was Johnnie Walker? Okay, probably not, but The Churchill Bar and Terrace has launched a cosy retreat that's all about Winston himself and his love of the Highlands. We recommend everything on the menu, and thanks to a crackling fire and the cosiest armchairs around, you'll have no problem coming back to sample each and every single bit.
Clementine Margarita: Don Julio Tequila
Baileys and red wine not cutting it anymore? If you want to spice up your sips at home there's a Christmas-inspired cocktail called the Clementine Margarita, and it's pretty straight forward to make. All you'll need is Don Julio Reposado tequila, Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, freshly squeezed lemon juice, pink grapefruit juice and two large bar spoons of homemade clementine marmalade.
