Yup, you could be spending your ACTUAL CHRISTMAS in the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
Ok, tbh, we’re talking more like an afternoon. But we’re already pretty confident it will be the best few hours of our lives.
Warner Bros Consumer Products (WBCP) and GES (creators of Harry Potter: The Exhibition) have announced they're opening a Harry Potter holiday experience, called 'Christmas In The Wizarding World', where you can shop in a magical environment, sip on a butterbeer or find yourself a wand in Olivanders.
Mocked up to look completely like Hogsmeade village and Diagon Alley, the Christmassy world will be stocked full of Hazza P merchandise – we’re talking robes, sweaters and that Gryffindor scarf you’ve always wanted to get your hands on.
Eeeeek. Now even mere muggles get a magical Christmas!
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Senior Vice President of Global Themed Entertainment at Warner Bros Consumer Products Peter van Roden said: "This holiday season, we are excited to introduce new Christmas-themed experiences that further extend JK Rowling's Wizarding World into the lifestyle of our fans and consumers."
The Crimbo shopping experience doesn’t yet have a release date, and at the moment talks haven’t expanded beyond America, but we’ve got our fingers crossed it will be apparating over to the UK very soon.
Until then, we’ll just have to enjoy the TWO new Harry Potter books that are coming out this October. We can think of worse stocking fillers, to be honest.
