Christopher Maloney’s Nana says she’ll give the CBB contestants ‘what for’ if they pick on him!

Celebrity Big Brother contestant Christopher Maloney has one big fan in his Grandma, Pat O’Brien. Pat became famous in her own right after Christopher constantly referred to her during his time on The X Factor in 2012 and now he’s in the CBB house, Nana Pat is right behind him.

And if things start to go wrong for Christopher, the Pat is prepared to get in her car and drive the 221 miles to give them “what for”.

“If I sat watching that and heard people saying this and that about him, I may be 77 but it won’t take me two minutes to get to London and pick them out,” Pat told the Liverpool Echo.

“I won’t look at it. And I’ve told them all not to say anything about it when they come and see me, because as far as I’m concerned he’s not there. We went through enough as you know [seeing Christopher on The X Factor]. Too much went on.”

And it turns out Pat wasn’t best pleased about Christopher going into the house, telling the paper that she wanted to lock him in her spare room.

“I said ‘You’re not going!’” Pat recalled. “I said I’ve got an empty room upstairs, you’re going to get locked in there, you’re not going out of that room!”

Luckily, Christopher did manage to escape and is settling in to his new surroundings perfectly. And Nana Pat? She’s going to be cheering from her sofa all the way.
