Speaking ahead of her Royal Variety performance tonight, the singer gushed about working with the Lego House star.
“I would love to collaborate with Ed Sheeran. He's here tonight,” Demi, 22, told Digital Spy.
“We've wanted to do a song together so it's just a matter of being in the same place at the same time.”
She then confirmed it was “definitely” on the cards before adding: “We're all over the world so it's hard to be in the same place at the same time. But we've talked about it. And definitely - we want it to happen.”
The pair have performed together before, singing Give Me Love together at MYFM's My Big Night Out last year.
