Every woman knows that the greatest life struggle she faces is not being able to eat Doritos due to the fact that they’re far too manly for her delicate little lady fingers.
But we can all finally breathe a sigh of relief, as PepsiCo, who make Doritos, seem to have taken it upon themselves to make special lady-friendly versions of the crisps.
Is it April Fools’ Day or is this really happening?
The Doritos – and we swear to you we’re not making this up – are apparently going to have a quieter crunch and come in smaller packs to fit in handbags.
The CEO, Indra Nooyi, told Freakonomics Radio: "As you watch a lot of the young guys eat the chips, they love their Doritos, and they lick their fingers with great glee, and when they reach the bottom of the bag they pour the little broken pieces into their mouth, because they don't want to lose that taste of the flavour, and the broken chips in the bottom."
“Women I think would love to do the same, but they don't.
(INDRA HAS CLEARLY NEVER SEEN US EAT DORITOS)
“They don't like to crunch too loudly in public. And they don't lick their fingers generously and they don't like to pour the little broken pieces and the flavour into their mouth.
"It’s not a male and female as much as 'are there snacks for women that can be designed and packaged differently?' And yes, we are looking at it, and we’re getting ready to launch a bunch of them soon," she continued.
We are very much thinking / hoping this could be an elaborate publicity stunt, tbh
