The lovely folks at ITV released these two short episodes of Downton as part of the Text Santa fundraiser, and just LOOK who came to join them.
Joanna Lumley in wings! George Clooney looking swelteringly hot in an old-timey suit! Writer Julian Fellowes making a clever cameo! It’s just the BEST.
Here’s what the clips involve according to ITV:
“It’s Christmas at Downton and Lord Robert Crawley (Hugh Bonneville) seems to be facing financial ruin once again. He’s beginning to wonder if his family may be better off without him but divine intervention in the form of a very special heavenly body (Joanna Lumley) gives him a view of what life would really be like without his guiding spirit.”
