Suranne Jones has confirmed that there will be another series of Doctor Foster. The hit BBC drama that first came onto our screens in September was INCREDIBLE and we were gripped by Suranne’s amazing performance as scorned GP Gemma Foster who discovered her husband is having an affair.

“I am thrilled to announce we will all be reunited to tell Gemma's next chapter, and I can't wait for the audience who invested in these characters to find out the explosive twists and turns Mike has in store,” Suranne said.

“Now we can look into what happens to a woman after divorce, deceit and revenge has taken its toll ... What a gift of a part and a dream to work with Mike Bartlett [The writer of Dr Foster] again!”

The show pulled in huge viewing figures (over 10 million for the finale) so it’s no wonder they want to bring it back. The news has split opinion though, with some fans saying they should have left it where it was.

We disagree – bring it back NOW!
