Ed Sheeran’s made no secret of the fact that he’d LOVE to have a role on Game of Thrones. Sadly this hasn’t happened, but his dream of getting onto TV has become a reality as he’s starring in a new TV series coming out later this month. And it’s all medieval and gross apparently.
We suppose that cameo down in Summer Bay for Home And Away in March must have been pretty good practice for him.
“I have an acting job coming out after July,” Ed told the Sun. “I can’t say too much about it because the pilot just got picked up, which is good, but it’s a TV show.
“It’s a medieval TV show and it’s really, really dark. It’s gruesome and it’s going to be fine because my friend wrote it.”
Ed also explained that it wasn’t hard to get his mate to put him forward for the role.
“He had a musician in his last show and I said ‘oh, did he audition for that?’ and he said ‘No, I just thought he would be good in it’. So I said, ‘Can you put me in a show next?’”
And here we are now, waiting for the show to air. We hope he doesn’t come to a grisly end after the first 20 minutes. We want to see his acting skills.
