Ok, we know it's been years, but here at heat we still get a bit emotional when we remember that the Friends series is actually finished for good.
Doesn't it seem like yesterday that Rachel burst into Central Perk in her wedding dress after jilting Barry at the altar, and didn’t you always kiiiiind of hope that Phoebe and Joey were going to end up together?!
We digress…
What we were TRYING to say is that even though we are absolute die hard Friends fans, there are some people out there who are seriously obsessed. Like, even more than us.
Historically, one Friends super-fan made a tiny model version of Monica's apartment, one got an illustration of Joey with a turkey on his head tattooed on their arm, and another Friends lover even re-enacted Monica and Chandler's proposal when asking his wife to marry him.
We kid you not.
But now, one Friends viewer has beaten them all. Yep, Kit Lovelace has displayed his absolute commitment to the sitcom by producing some vital stats on one of the most important parts of the show… how much coffee they all drank.
In a chart which recorded the cups of coffee consumed by Monica, Phoebe, Rachel, Ross, Chandler and Joey over all 236 episodes of Friends, the massive fan revealed that Phoebe was the biggest coffee addict amongst the group, drinking a mind-boggling 227 cups of coffee in total.
Chandler came in second place on the coffee-drinking leaderboard, drinking 212 cups, while Monica followed close behind him with 198.
Lagging at the back of the squad, but still impressively dependent on their caffeine fix, Joey had 191 coffees throughout the sitcom, while Ross had 188.
Rachel drank dramatically less coffee, only 138 cups to be exact, although any true Friends fan will know that that's most likely because she worked at the coffee shop with Gunther, so wasn’t always sitting with the others.
Impressed? We are.
But that's not all. Kit EVEN went as far as to break down the coffee consumption season by season, in a wonderfully colour co-ordinated graph.
According to his research, the Friends characters drank the most coffee in seasons four to six, and seemed to drink less coffee as the show went on.
(That is, apart from Rachel, who seemed to drink more coffee in season 10 – but tbh, who wouldn’t if they'd just had a baby with Ross?!)
And he didn’t stop there. The Friends addict has even done some seeeeerious research, and managed to work out how much money each one of the characters had spent in total throughout the series.
"Because Monica gets a bill in the episode The One With Five Steaks And An Eggplant, we know that one coffee and one scone comes to $4.12," he told his followers on Twitter.
That means, based on his calculations, Phoebe spent a whopping $408.10 on coffee throughout the show, that's $159.7 more than Rachel spent…
We don't know about you, but all of this information is pretty overwhelming, and we think we need a lie down.
Good work Kit Lovelace, you've made Friends fans everywhere really happy – and most importantly you've proved how expensive our coffee habits are.
