Birds ‘n’ bees chat not necessary

Who remembers how awks sex education classes were at school? Even worse if your mum or dad tried to talk to you about it. Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner managed to avoid any cringy chats about sex with her parents or teachers because the show basically taught her everything. And more.

Sophie, who has played Sansa Stark on the show since she was just 14-years-old, had to tell her mum to calm the sex education chat when she was 16 because GoT had already given her ALL of the knowledge. Erm, more or less awkward?

Chatting to Stella magazine Sophie said, "(When my mum tried to speak to me) I said, 'This isn't necessary, I know everything. I know every single thing that a person can do - and more'. The show is very inventive."

Definitely more.

She also went on to say her dad happened to visit her on set during a VERY, erm, GoT storyline where she was about to film an attempted gang-rape.

"It was horribly awkward. My dad just didn't know this scene was going on, he just thought he'd turn up. We were like, 'Oh bad day, Dad'. I think in the beginning (my parents) were (shocked) - there were so many sex scenes in the first series - but after that they got used to it. They knew it was a good quality show. If it hasn't been, I don't think they would have been happy."

Wow. So much more awkward than a banana + condom school demo.
