Geena Davis has made ALL our dreams come true by suggesting there could very well be a Beetlejuice 2! Annnnndddddddd, she’d love to be in it!

Geena played Barbara Maitland opposite Alec Baldwin and Winona Ryder in Tim Burton's classic 1988 horror comedy. The film also starred Michael Keaton as the terrifying Beetlejuice.

"I did hear that it's really happening," Geena told ETonline of the rumoured sequel.

"No-one's talked to me about it. I would love to! That was one of my favourite movies, too."

She quipped: "But ghosts probably don't age, and it's going to be 30 years now.

"Of course, I haven't aged, but I think Alec Baldwin maybe has aged, perhaps."

Winona, who played Lydia Deetz in the film, relit rumours of there being a Beetlejuice 2 in August with an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyer.

"I think I can confirm it," she said. "It was very hush hush, top secret... and then [Tim Burton] was doing some press for Big Eyes and he did an on-camera interview and he said, 'Oh yeah, we are doing it', and 'Winona is going to be in it'.

"So can I say that? I mean if he said it, I can. But I really don't know much more than anybody else."

Tim previously said that any sequel would depend on the original Beetlejuice coming back.

There’s only one Beetlejuice, and that's Michael. There is a script, and I would love to work with him again. I think there is now a better chance than ever," he said.

"I miss that character. There's something that's cathartic and amazing about it. I think it's closer than ever."

Please, please, please make all our dreams come true and get working on Beetlejuice 2, Tim.
