We have proof that Marnie Simpson and Aaron Chalmers are back together!

OK, maybe not actual proof.

Strictly speaking, we may just be seeing something that we want to see (a bit like the time we heard actual Santa one Christmas Eve) but keee mon - it looks pretty likely, doesn’t it?

Marnie has asked Aaron out on a date!

The “real boobs, real hair” (once upon a time, anyway) one has gegged in on Charlotte Crosby and Gary Beadle’s date, asking if she and Aaron can go along too - OMGerd.

Aaron also seems to have been hinting that the two of them are back together by posting snaps of them together to his Instagram account.

And the inked-up chap has never made any secret of his admiration for Marnie.

He was even at the root of Marnie splitting up with her boyfriend before Ricky Rayment when they had a drunken snog. Or two.

If we were being totally cynical we could even point out that the two of them get more screen time when they’re together, but as it’s almost Christmas we’re going to approach this with the naivety of little babes in the snow and ignore that possible motivation.

Just like we’re going to ignore the snaps Marnie's been posting of mystery gent, Troy.
