A new study by EE - the official technology partner of Glastonbury - has revealed that the average festival-goer will take a staggering 143 photos at the iconic Worthy Farm event this weekend.

Researchers, who polled 1000 people, found that those descending upon the five-day Somerset festival will also upload 35 social media posts; making that super-speedy 5G EE connection all the more handy!

Now, because we bloody love a stat here at heatworld, we can also tell you that your average Glasto-goer will walk almost 30 miles over the event (make sure you've downloaded the official app for the all-important map 🗺), watch 16 live performances and call home three times a day.

Don't lie, you'll be phoning your best mate after a couple of ciders during Stormzy's set; just like one in ten of those surveyed.

EE's research also found that attendees will send and average of 47 WhatsApp messages to their pals, dial out 31 times in total and send 49 texts from Worthy Farm.

Fun fact: that equates to around 25.3 million calls and texts over the five days. Call us Carol Vorderman, hun.

More than one third of Glastonbury-goers claim they'd be lost without their phones at the iconic festival; with your typical reveller posting 12 videos on their socials.

Yep, that adds up to a crazy 2.4 million uploads 😱.

Going to Glasto and stressed about your phone battery? WORRY NOT, friends. EE have made it easier than ever to top up your phone's juice this year with the free EE Recharge Tent (located in the Glade area); complete with Wireless and Quick Charge 3.0 charging stations.

Pete Jeavons, Marketing Communications Director at BT and EE, explains: "We’ve helped make Glastonbury the UK’s best connected festival so our customers can make the most of every moment and share even more memories with their family and friends.

"Our new and improved EE Glastonbury app allows Festival-goers to drop pins on the festival map, listen to artists playing at Glastonbury to discover new music to help build their perfect festival line up, and create and share their own personalised set-lists so they can make sure they don’t miss a beat."

BRILLIANT.
