This December, the bigwigs over at Channel 4 have got a treat in store for us. Gogglebox – one of out all time favourite TV shows – is going to be having a Christmas special with a twist. Kids. And it sounds like it could be amazing.
“Bosses reckon kids will make great telly as you never know what they are going to say — and often they say the funniest, most honest things,” a show insider told the Mirror.
“Everyone knows children can be the harshest critics, and will be able to relate to these new reality stars.”

It’s thought the stars of the one off special will be under 13 and will be providing some serious comedy commentary on a range of subjects including The Great British Bake Off and the Cecil the Lion scandal.
Channel 4 boss David Glover explained the idea came to him after going to the cinema.
“I first saw Jurassic Park in a cinema with some kids sitting behind me,” David told the Sun. “There’s a scene in which you see some jelly wobble to the thud of a dinosaur.
“The kid behind me just said, ‘Jelly!’ That makes me think this could work.”
We think it could be genius.
