The Great British Bake Off is BACK! Tonight Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry return to our screens with a celebrity line-up to raise money for Comic Relief – and they’ve got some starry egos to contend with.
YouTube star Zoella, Gok Wan, Jennifer Saunders, David Mitchell and Joanna Lumley are among the 16 celebs battling it out for Star Baker, and we can expect to see a whooole lot of drama when they get inside that sacred marquee.
Here's a sneak peek at the first episode
Speaking ahead of the first episode, Paul said he would definitely beat Mary if the two of them ever went head-to-head in their own baking competition – which, if we’re honest, we’d like to see more than anything else in our lives.
“I’d win hands down, without a shadow of a doubt!” ol’ Blue-Eyes told the Sun. “Maybe we’ll do something with [presenter] Sue Perkins and I working on a team against Mary and Mel Giedroyc.”
YES. YES PAUL. DO THIS NOW PLEASE.
Lovely Mary agreed. “I don’t know what he’d do to me if he didn’t win! I’d let him win.”
Incredible. Watch The Great Comic Relief Bake Off tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
