Yes, you read that correctly! After more than 20,000 people signed a petition by animal welfare organisation PETA, the popular bakery chain have revealed their brand new product, announcing it will go on sale on Thursday 3rd January!!!
Greggs shared an Oscar-worthy video of their exciting new product to their social media channels today (Wednesday 2nd January), revealing details such as , '96 layers of light and crisp puff pastry' – made with 'vegetable oil' – and a 'bespoke Quorn filling'.

Obviously vegans across the country were overjoyed at the new release, taking to Twitter to express their delight. One user wrote, 'Will definitely try it 👌 great move Greggs', with another adding, 'Yassssssss! The greatest news'. [sic]
Greggs have announced that customers will be able to buy the vegan version in 900 shops across the UK, with a full list available here. The vegan sausage roll will cost £1, 5p more than the original meat version.
