Ever wondered how Grumpy Cat would sound with a human voice? Us too.

Our favourite frowny feline, Grumpy Cat, has taken centre stage in her very own festive film. What more could we want on a miserable Monday?

Grumpy Cat, voiced by actress and comedian Aubrey Plaza, brings a touch of Bah Humbug to Christmas. The Parks and Recreation actress is known for her deadpan sense of humour, which undoubtedly does the miserable moggy justice.

Grumpy Cat’s new anti-festive movie tells the story of a 12-year-old girl, Chrystal, who wishes for a friend she can depend on and picks the lonely cat – but obvs GC isn’t the sweet, loveable kitty the girl had hoped for.

Dashing through the…no.

Expect the meme-turned-movie-star to verbally abuse everyone, kidnap a dog and shoot up the place with a paintball gun – standard Grumpy Cat behaviour.

The internet sensation – real name Tardar Sauce – famous for her permanently gloomy facial expression rose to stardom back in 2012 after her owner Tabatha Bundesen posted a picture of her on Reddit.

Speaking to her seven million Facebook fans, Grumpy Cat said: “I had a movie trailer once. It was awful.”

So just for a brief respite from the relentlessly chirpy Christmas music that heat Radio’s been dying to play, here’s the trailer of Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever:

The Lifetime film premieres on 29 November.
