Hey what’s up oh not much just the Backstreet Boys — THE ACTUAL BACKSTREET BOYS — have made a new advert for a Swedish warehouse firm Netonnet, and in the advert they dance around in a warehouse and do warehouse things like wear boilersuits and swivel around the high columns on the front of a forklift and do stuff to cardboard boxes. The ‘90s called, guys, and it wants all the millions of dollars it gave you back.

The Backstreet Boys – that’s Kevin, Howie, Nick, Brian, A.J., and some nameless hair transplanted into A.J.’s head from that of a poor but lustrous boy — reportedly received $750,000 between them for the ad, which sees them sing Larger Than Life with mildly transposed lyrics, seeing as ‘lager’ means ‘warehouse’ in Swedish. It’s clever, yeah? Clever.

Anyway, enjoy your weekend. The Backstreet Boys will, sleeping on soft, kitten-like piles of money, sleeping tightly and thinking of that really good year they had in 1999.
