Two years ago, a vine was something you got wine off (we're not sure of the specifics, but we're pretty certain that's right). Now it's a full-blown social media phenomenon all by itself, making stars of funny people on their phones left, right and centre.
So, to celebrate the best of the bunch, we've put together this lovely lot for heat's Twitter Awards 2015. Who should scoop our Best Vine Star gong? You decide.
Have a ROFL at the nominees below, then vote underneath for the chance to win £100 of shopping vouchers. Nice.
Arron Crascall
A high street prankster and king of musical mashaps (that's what you get when you cross a mash-up with a mishap, btw), Arron's signature move is the 'See ya later'. He's also introduced the world to #Sundayhighfives and dancing like a madman at the bottom of the tube escalator.
AnnsieSlimWorld
heat's very own Anna Lewis has been getting HELLA loops for her Vine-tastic Slimming World recipes and LOLsome voiceovers. Maybe you can't quite make a seafood linguine in six seconds - but you'll be inspired to shout "REDUCE, REDUCE" at all your sauces from now on.
Jayne Sharp
Sharp by name, Sharp by nature, Jayne is a very funny lady who came up with the genius #PerfectPortraits for her followers. If you can't laugh at six seconds of a woman wearing some bread rolls and pretending it's a six-pack, you have no soul.
Francine Lewis
Lovely Francine first came to the public's attention when she premiered her amazing celebrity impressions on Britain's Got Talent, but it's Vine where she's massively expanded her fan base. HOW GOOD is her Gemma Collins?!
Shawn Mendes
Pitched as the new Justin Bieber (though without any of the knobbishness), Shawn became famous after posting his six-second music videos on Vine. A few years, millions of followers and some sold-out gigs later, here he is being nominated for a heat Twitter Award. The giddy heights of fame, eh?
