Stuck on what kind of hen party to plan for your mate? Obvs, you're going to want it to be super memorable and fun, a final send off for your BFF as she waves goodbye to the single life. We at heatworld know there can be a load of pressure when it comes to organising the big event, so we've come up with a handy guide for some hen do inspo.

We've tried and tested a whole HEAP of weird, wonderful and GLAM AF hen do activities all in the name of journalism (it's a hard life). And now, we're bringing you our reviews for the very best hen do experiences on offer.

First up there was the country escape, for those wanting to escape the mad rush of city life (check that out here) and get a little bit closer to nature before their big day. Then, for those who fancy the finer things in life, there's always the option of a luxury spa retreat.

Now, our quest to find the perfect hen do experience has taken us to Amsterdam. And here's a little taste of what hen do company Hen Heaven offer in the famous Dutch city for brides-to-be.

Prosecco Bike

Combining a tour of the city with free-flowing prosecco and beer on tap, what better way to kick start your weekend in Amsterdam than on one of the city's only electric beer bikes.

Just make sure you wrap up warm if you're heading there in the winter months. We tried it out on a rainy weekend in February and we've only just got the feeling back in our fingers.

Escape Room

To be honest, getting stuck in to a challenging escape room isn't the first activity that springs to mind when we think of a wild hen party weekend in Amsterdam. BUT, the guys and gals at Hen Heaven clearly know their stuff as this activity requires team work, clear communication and patience - so, essentially, it's the perfect prep for a lifetime of marriage, right?

It's also a really good laugh to watch all your mates crack under the pressure of trying to find hidden clues and breakdown cryptic clues.

Canal Boat Tour

Before you head to Rembrandtplein, Amsterdam's party district, for a wild night out at one of the square's nightclubs. Hire out a canal boat for a private tour around the city's picturesque canals - fully stocked with a range of alcoholic and no-alcoholic drinks, obvs.

There's also the option to throw in a strip show for the bride-to-be... if that kinda thing floats ya boat.

Car Smash

If you fancy doing something completely out-of-character, then we recommend a car smash. What is that, we hear you ask? Well, essentially, during a car smash excursion, you'll be whisked away to a scrap heap where you'll be given a hammer and a crow bar, before being let loose on a car.

You and your gals will have an epic time smashing a car to pieces, and you'll also get some epic Instagram snaps (see above of team heat giving it a go) to impress your mates.

Between excursions (and in an attempt to walk off our hangovers), we took a stroll around the city to check out some the lesser known Amsterdam hotspots.

Pluck

If your weekend just isn't complete without a boujee brunch in a kitsch setting, you need to check out Pluk Amsterdam. The cafe combines cute aesthetics with delicious breakfast food (some of it surprisingly healthy) and is basically an Instagram fanatic's dream.

After brunch, we recommend taking a stroll through Amsterdam's cobbled streets and pause for a pic on one of the many photoshoot-ready bridges over the canal, before heading to the Heineken Experience for an afternoon learning all about BEER. (It's actually a lot more fun than it sounds).
