We always expect celebrities to swerve Buck Tucker Trials when *I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! *rolls around, but while they normally excuse themselves for their arachnophobia or because there's a cockroach in their actual bum hole (we'll come back to that later), Lady Colin Campbell had a tragic reason for skipping tonight's Panic Pit.

Lady C was tasked with crawling into a hole in the ground then staying in there for up to ten minutes, with each minute she was in there winning her a meal for her campmates. However, the writer and socialite couldn't face the task as it brought back flashbacks to her cousin's murder.

Speaking to presenters Ant and Dec, Lady C said: “I’m not starting it, sorry. I have a cousin who was murdered by being buried alive, I’m not doing anything that is coffin-like or involves coffins.

“I’m really sorry about this, I would gladly be a sport,” she added. She then made her way back to camp and explained why they had no stars.

Thankfully, Gold singer Tony Hadley was supportive of her decision, explaining: “She told us the tragic story of a relative buried alive and she was very clear to us she wouldn’t do any trial like that and we completely understood that.”

Susannah Constantine added: “We all support her.”

Footballer Kieron Dyer and also consoled Lady Campbell later in camp later telling her: “I still love you darling.”

She replied: “Thank you darling, you’re such a star, such a wonderful guy, I need to tell your mother what a great job she did”. Bless.

BUM ROACHES

Meanwhile, all the young'uns - five youngest in the camp to be precise - were tasked with taking on another challenge called Ghost Train.

This saw Jorgie Porter and Brian Friedman doused with cockroaches, which soon found their way inot her underpants.

“They’re in my G-string. They’re in my bum hole!”

You don't get quotes like that from The Guardian, eh?

She then screamed "I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!" and quit the challenge.

“The thing I’m really scared about is when insects try and climb inside your holes. And that was happening and it freaked me out. I’d rather step out of the carriage than poop a cockroach out my bum hole."
