Did Jake Wood accidentally reveal Lucy Beale’s killer on last night’s LIVE EastEnders?

Jake Wood MAY have accidentally unmasked Lucy Beale’s killer during last night’s episode of EastEnders – by ‘fluffing his lines’ during the final live scene.

His character Max Branning was talking to daughter Abi Branning (played by Lorna Fitzgerald) when he appeared to stumble over the script.

“Lauren ain’t coming back. She knows, she knows whether you killed Lucy,” he said – but loads of listeners thought he MEANT to say “who killed Lucy”.

Jake – who yesterday was announced as heat’s Weird Crush 2015 winner – took to Twitter to clear up the rumours.

And ‘Enders spokesperson also confirmed Jake said “you” not “who”, and added that the word ‘whether’ wasn’t in the script.

Also in last night’s episode, we saw Jane Beale – who’s set to marry Ian Beale again on tomorrow night’s show – open a wedding card from Lauren, which said: “I know what happened to Lucy. She was killed at home. Lauren.”
