Jay Z is reportedly getting read to sign on the dotted line and become the new star of the US show, Celebrity Apprentice.
The role did belong to Donald Trump – who’s trying to run for president now – and according to reports in the US, the producers would love to have Jay on the show.
“The deal is done but the business guys are putting together the paperwork,” an insider said.
“Jay has been trying to show his business side to the public, this is the perfect opportunity.”
Yes it is. And it could give Tidal a bit of a boost too, with the source adding to MediaTakeOut: “[Jay] and Beyonce are a real business team, it’s not for show. So I wouldn’t be surprised if she came on the show to give her opinion too.”
The report claimed that the producers had approached a number of high profile to celebs to take over the role (which is just like Alan Sugar’s one on the UK Apprentice, to be honest) but Jay came out on top.
Everyone pray this is true. We’d love to see Jay dishing out some advice. And Beyonce, of course.
