So, we know we won’t be seeing Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear anymore. What with him punching BBC producer, Oisin Tymon, and not getting his contract renewed ‘n’ all that.

But that doesn’t mean he won’t be appearing on another BBC show.

DON'T MISS!

The managing director of Hat Trick, the company behind Have I Got News For You, has confirmed that 55-year-old Jeremy will be joining the show as its brand new host after doing such a good job when he’s done it before.

"We always have a field day with Jeremy," The Guardian quoted Hat Trick’s Jimmy Mulville as saying.

"Maybe we will get the producer on so he can hit Jeremy Clarkson live on television. As far as I'm concerned, he is hosting Have I Got News For You in early May.

"The BBC haven't told me what to do yet. It'll be an interesting conversation. I think he's a fantastic broadcaster and I concentrate on that. He's due to host the third episode."

Jezza has previously hosted Have I Got News For You on 11 occasions.

A BBC spokesperson said: "Jeremy's contract has not been renewed on Top Gear, but he isn't banned from appearing on the BBC."

Shame.
