Jeremy Clarkson and his Top Gear crew may have to wait TWO whole years to make a rival motoring show on ITV.

A clause in Jeremy, Richard Hammond and James May’s old BBC contracts prevents them from making a rival car show on a UK channel until April 2017, The Mirror reports.

ITV and Netflix are thought to be leading the race to sign Jez, Richard and James for a new project.
