Boob-loving comedian Kathy Griffin has quit E!'s Fashion Police just seven episodes into her contract because of the "culture of unattainable perfectionism", she's announced on Twitter.
Kathy, 54, had joined the red carpet analysis programme earlier this month after Kelly Osbourne's dramatic exit over some eyebrow-raising remarks her co-host Giuliana Rancic had made at the Oscars.
In a statement she posted on Twitter, Kathy said she initially joined to step into the late Joan Rivers' shows to "continue her legacy as a woman being brash and eccentric on television".
"I thought that I could bring my brand of humour to* Fashion Police* so that beautiful people in beautiful dresses could be teased when appropriate," she continued.
"There is plenty to make fun of in pop culture without bringing people's bodies into it … I do not want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference.
"After 7 episodes of Fashion Police, I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show and now it's time to move on. I wish E! and the E! team only the best," she added.
Kathy's swift exit comes after the Oscars controversy, in which comments – thought to be made by Giuliana – about US actress Zendaya caused a Twitter storm.
Giuliana was branded racist for appearing to say Zendaya's dreadlocks looked like they smelled of patchouli oil and weed.
Fashion Police returns to E! on Monday 30 March with Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski and executive producer (and Joan's daughter) Melissa Rivers.
