Katy Perry plans duet with Pharrell Williams for Super Bowl half time show!

The 30-year-old confirmed she’d bagged the exclusive slot – this year’s Super Bowl is on 1 February, FYI – in November and now she’s pulling out all the stops.

And alongside the ‘snappy dancers’ and ‘outlandish costumes’ (we can’t wait to see that) she’s trying to get Pharrell involved.

“Katy is a huge fan of Pharrell and knows that having him duet with her on one of her songs during her performance will make all the difference,” an insider told the Mirror.

“Her people are already in early talks with his people about setting it all up. He is tempted as he knows it will be an amazing, slick, professional show.”

The show is watched by 115 million people in the US alone – so the pressure’s on for Katy to pull something really special out of the bag.

Then again, if it doesn’t work out she could just do a Janet Jackson and pop out a nipple part way through her act.

Pharrell hasn’t confirmed he’s on board yet, with the source adding: “He is trying to work out how it will fit in around his own branding and commitments. But he is also touring in the summer so he knows that it will be great publicity for him too.”
