Kim Kardashian to appear on India’s Big Brother!

Yes Kim is heading east to appear in India's version of Big Brother in Mumbai.

Kim will make her first appearance on the show on Saturday night although it's not known how long she will be in the house for.

In a statement released by the television channel, Kim said: “Namaste India … main Kim Kardashian aa rahi hoon India … Bigg Boss ke ghar mein,” which translates as: Greetings, India. I, Kim Kardashian, am coming to India, to the house of Bigg Boss.

Kim, 34, is following in some rather famous footsteps, with celebrities including Pamela Anderson making an appearance on the show previously.

Our very own Jade Goody also appeared on the show back in 2008.

For anyone wondering why Kim may have taken up this challenge – the show gets around 150 MILLION viewers – so it’s just perfect for boosting her profile.

And, erm the sales of her perfume.

We’re sure she’ll be plugging it like mad and will have an obligatory Yeezuz t-shirt to hand, just in case she fancies giving Kanye any air time.

The stop off in India is part of her world tour (as she calls it) where she’s promoting the fragrance and will be heading straight to Dubai after India.
