How good was the very first episode of Lifetime’s drama, UnREAL?
In the first instalment of this MASSIVELY addictive drama, which goes behind the scenes of fictional dating show, Everlasting, disgraced producer Rachel is back for her second stint on the show under Queen Bee Quinn’s rule.
With too much personal history on set, including an ex-boyfriend cameraman, Jeremy, (Josh Kelly) and the shame of her explosive exit from the previous series, Rachel is reluctant to return.
But finding herself in dire need of money, Rachel is driven back to the Everlasting set, where she tries to prove that she has changed and is ready to play the twisted game of reality TV. Eek!
Cameras at the ready, the production begins filming as the beautiful and enthusiastic girls arrive at the mansion to meet the dating show’s handsome suitor, British heir to the Cromwell Hotel fortune, Adam (Freddie Stroma).
However, the programme comes to a standstill as leading man Adam disappears from the set; no Adam means no show. Under strict orders from boss Quinn, Rachel must find their show pony and use her powers of persuasion to make him stay. How far will she go to save the show and her job?
