Lily Allen is in full on gobby mode for her new interview with Q magazine, and first on the agenda - she wants everyone to know that celebrities are a bit rubbish.

Is she talking about all celebrities? Even herself? That’s not quite clear, but what is clear is that Lily feels that the reality of being a celebrity doesn’t quite match up to the fantasy.

“I feel like the general public should know what an a******e everybody is,” Lily proclaims.

“Everyone is so scared about protecting this idea of a fabulous showbiz glamour and the reality is we’re all just s***king off some rich dude who owns a vodka brand. That’s what we see as an achievement,” says Lily, really telling it like it is.

Adds the* Sheezu* singer, “Maybe people want to believe in it. I believed in it when I was a kid and then I got here and I was disappointed. I want to tell everyone they’re lying.”

Well, alrighty then – thanks for running the whole being-a-celebrity-is-totally-ace thing for everyone.
