Now, we know what you are thinking: you are thinking, ‘What is the difference between doing something “busking-style” and actual busking?' And the answer to that question is: don’t know.

The Vamps’ UK tour kicked off last night in Sheffield with Friend as support, and, as Digital Spy reports, Ol’ Friendo will also be playing “acoustic, busking-style gigs” in each of the tour’s cities during the day.

There’s also something digital happening with a company called Zappar which we don’t fully understand but basically fans can scan a QR code? Which may or may not be Luke Friend himself? And get access to exclusive content and possibly win the chance for Luke to busk for them in private? Something like that. Something zeitgeist.
